My name is Hannah Rivera. I am currently 21 years old and a senior at CCAD (Columbus College of Art & Design). I'm majoring in Media Studies/Cinematic Arts, with a minor in Creative Writing.
The work that I do primarily falls along the lines of video/photo work, and ultimately I'm looking more toward Cinematography, Photography and possibly Motion Graphics as a possible field/area of work to pursue. I love being able to be behind the camera controlling it, and be able to create that perfect shot, frame it, capture it, and create a sense of beauty, emotion, and story within it. I also love writing and telling stories. Basically, any form of creative expression I absolutely love. Moreover, I see myself as both a visual storyteller and a lover of media (TV, Movies/Film, video games, animation etc.) and with that love and admiration towards the more modern and prominent forms of visual storytelling, I hope to one day pursue a career which allows me to work in any of these industries.
I've always loved stories, hearing them and telling them. The art of storytelling or communication has always appealed to me even as a child. To be able to breathe life to a story of my own, move someone, or express some sort of emotion or communicate some kind message to people has always been my motive. I love writing and exploring my imagination, both with words and with images. I write all kinds of things including but not limited to: poetry, short-stories, narratives, and primarily screenwriting.
-I live and work in Columbus; and am originally from Fairfield/Cincinnati, Ohio. I moved up here for school, and I fell in love with the city and with CCAD. If you'd like to know anything more or have any questions feel free to email me or leave a comment.
